Data we collect
We collect minimal personal data. This website does not run advertising trackers and does not use third-party analytics scripts.
If you email us, we process your name, email address, and message content so we can respond to your enquiry.
Our hosting provider may process technical request data (for example IP address, browser details, and security logs) to keep the service available and secure.
Lawful bases for processing
We process enquiry emails under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in operating SARAA-Scotland safely and responding to requests.
Where enquiries relate to potential partnerships, grants, or operational liaison, we also process data to take steps requested by the enquirer before entering an agreement.
How we use your data
We use personal data only to handle enquiries, coordinate relevant follow-up, and keep appropriate records of communications.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and associated contact details are retained only as long as required to manage the request and any follow-up, after which they are securely deleted.
Technical security logs are retained in line with hosting security and incident-response requirements.
Donations
Donations are processed through PayPal Giving Fund (opens in new tab). SARAA-Scotland does not process or store payment card details.
PayPal Giving Fund and PayPal act as separate data controllers for donation processing. Please review PayPal's privacy notice for details of how they process donor data.
